Samsung Galaxy M02s Smartphone Review

Samsung has launched several smartphones in the mid and budget range in the last two years. Especially the Galaxy M series smartphones have been liked by the users a lot. The starting price of this series of smartphones is around Rs 6,000. In such a situation, entry-level smartphone users are liking it. Last year, the company launched the Galaxy M01 smartphone. Now in this series, the company has brought another entry-level smartphone Galaxy M02s. This smartphone comes in India with two storage options – 3GB RAM + 32GB and 4GB RAM + 64GB. The starting price of the smartphone is Rs 8,999.

What is special?

If we see at first glance, then the fresh camera design can be seen in this budget range smartphone of Samsung. Its camera bump has been eliminated. The new texture design can be seen in the back panel. The finishing of the phone is also much better. The thickness of this smartphone is also less, which we usually get in the Galaxy A series of smartphones. The thing that we liked best in the Galaxy M02s is the improvement in its overall design. The TFT display has been used in the front panel of the phone. Look wise, you will not find this smartphone a budget phone from any angle.

Apart from the design, the use of Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC has been given on the phone. To give power to the phone, it has a powerful battery of 5,000mAh. Despite being a budget smartphone, Dolby Atmos features in it. Talking about the software experience, Samsung’s latest OneUI 2.5 has been used, which is based on the Android 10 operating system. After setting up the phone, you must do a software check once. It will get Android’s latest security patch. Due to the latest security patch, your phone will become even more secure.

Galaxy M02s Camera Design:

Samsung has introduced this smartphone with the tagline, Max, Up. Its camera feature has been improved against the previous variants. It has a 13MP primary camera sensor. Also, it has a 2MP macro and a 2MP depth sensor. In the phone’s camera, you are given many types of modes such as macro mode, live focus mode, and beauty mode. For the selfie, it has a 5MP camera which has been fitted in the Waterdrop Notch. In the selfie camera, you also get to see pro mode, live focus mode, and macro mode. You also get HDR support in the rear camera.

First impressions:

Samsung Galaxy M02s At first glance, we have an entry-level smartphone with a sleek design and premium look. The look and design of the phone are quite good. If it is compared to the sub-10K smartphones of Chinese companies Realme’s C series and Redmi’s number series, then it will prove better than them in every respect. In the phone, you get the Samsung OneUI 2.5 customized UI which is better than the user interface of Chinese companies. I have not yet tested its camera, which I will tell about it in the review. The phone weighs 196 grams and the gripping is also great. At first glance, you will not find any entry-level smartphone. If you do not want to buy phones from Chinese brands, then Samsung Galaxy M02s may be a better entry-level smartphone for you.
